In voluntarily participating in an activity of BB Ramblers, I am aware that my participation in this activity may expose me to risks that could lead to injury, illness or death or to loss of or damage to my property. Those risks include, but are not limited to, slippery and/or uneven rocks, rocks being dislodged, cliffs, exposure to weather & white-out conditions, falling and hypothermia.
To minimize these risks I have endeavoured to ensure that:
IT IS THE ADVICE OF OUR UMBRELLA ORGANIZATION BUSHWALKING VICTORIA THAT ALL WALKERS SHOULD ARRANGE THEIR OWN AMBULANCE INSURANCE COVER.
While B’nai B’rith Ramblers obtains accident insurance for all its members and casual visitors, the costs of aerial rescue may SUBSTANTIALLY exceed limits of this cover. Ambulance Victoria membership provides cover throughout Australia
We collect/keep email addresses and/or mobile phone numbers and we may ask you for your street address for transport purposes.
We disclose your email address to other walk registrants in the walk that you have registered, for coordination and shared transport purposes. You need to advise if you do not want this information to be shared with the walk participants.
If you are a paid up or new member, the payment of your subscription will be deemed as full acceptance of “ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS AND OBLIGATIONS OF PARTICIPANTS IN BB Ramblers ACTIVITIES”
