Example Midweek on a Wednesday

COVID-19 restrictions Permitting

Stage 4 Restrictions began on the 2nd August and are expected to last 6 weeks, or until at least 13-Sept.

I think it is unlikely that the stage 3 restrictions that will follow the ending of Stage 4 will allow groups of 10 as soon as the 16th. If the maximum group size is smaller than 10, then we will need to assess the feasibility of walking.

COVID-19 restrictions allowing, my plan  is to meet at Alamein Station and walk the Glen Iris triangle, with a diversion up Back Creek almost as far north to Toorak Road.

Midweek - Wednesday 28 October - Croydon

Unfortunately this walk was CANCELLED, because the 25 km limited travel, would limit participation. Also because there was insufficient time to send out notes and collate registrations between 26 Oct at 15:30 when the restriction on number of families participating was announced to be lifted and the walk date of 28 Oct.

Come & discover a suburb you may never have visited in your own city - parks, lake, creek and yes, good coffee to boot!

Note: We will find out whether this walk can be held on Sunday 18th October. We need restrictions relaxed to allow a group containing more than 4 walkers and for an unlimited number of households. We also need to be able to travel to Croydon.

Date Change: Because this walk was originally scheduled for 21 October, which gives insufficient time to organise, we have moved the date of the walk to 28 October.
